Some topics covered are: addiction, recognizing addiction, motivating change, withdrawal, detox methods, post-acute withdrawal, recovery, drug monitoring, relapse prevention, and return to work strategies.

Patients

I only accept patients who are Canadian residents, unfortunately because of insurance requirements. For all Ontario residents, sessions are covered by OHIP.

I do NOT treat patients for addictions to heroin, methadone, oxycontin, and crystal methamphetamine.

My practice focuses on patients who are addicted to alcohol, tranquilizers, marijuana, or cocaine.
